I really enjoyed photographing little Frankie & his family last Sunday! It was so great to hear from LeeAnn. We went to high-school, together! Never did I think, I would be photographing special moments like this for those who I went to school with! LeeAnn & Frank, thank you for welcoming me into your home & letting me photograph your wonderful family. Frankie’s favorite part, was laying underneath his parent’s beautiful Fall tree. Fall is my favorite season too, Frankie! =)
Congratulations to you guys!!!! And enjoy this sneak peek!
I met Amber & Joe through mutual friends & I’m so grateful they have chosen me as their photographer. We had a really great photo session at the John James Audubon Center, last weekend! Joe used to volunteer at the center & they both loved the property. So, when discussing locations, the Audubon Center seemed like the natural & best choice! It was also their anniversary weekend!! What a fantastic way to celebrate, with a photo session!
Engagement sessions are my absolute favorite. I have most likely said this before, but it’s worth reiterating! It’s a great time to get to know the couple & for them to get to know me.Their fun personalities made for an excellent shoot! They even inspired me to purchase a pair of moccasins! :-p (see below)!
Amber & Joe are getting married in June 2014! I can’t wait to capture their day!
My friend Karen, is having a baby boy, soon!! I attended her shower the other day & brought along my camera with new lens in hand! I just purchased the Carl Zeiss T* 50mm F/1.4! Since I am so fond of the 50mm lens, I just had to upgrade! Here are a few shots I took at Karen’s shower…
I am photographing a wedding on the 22nd, so I will have a proper review of the new lens/more photos to share, then! Congratulations, Karen & Adam!!
Here are a small collection of images I created, inspired by the television show, Banshee! Banshee returns to Cinemax in January, 2014 for a Season 2!!
This last scene was lit by a portable light! No natural light! This was also my first time, lighting a scene for an actual shoot. Not bad, right?! Haha! I really enjoyed making these photos and Katie was phenomenal!
I met Kema in high school while we were working at Applebees! She has such a kind heart. I was so pleased when I received an e-mail from her, inquiring about my photo services! Kema & Derek make such a perfect couple! Despite the hot day yesterday, they were fantastic! And they chose a gorgeous location for their session! Hopewell Furnace in Elverson. Their daughter Adalee, even joined them for some photos! She loved the camera!
Kema & Derek are tying the knot on September 22, 2013. Thank you for having me on board for your wedding!!
My friend’s Courtney & Chris Abud, welcomed their baby boy Ben into the world on June 27, 2013!!
Yesterday was the first day I met Benjamin Abud! I spent the afternoon hanging out with Ben & his family in his sweet DIY superhero themed pad! Coolest nursery I’ve ever seen. Then again, Chris & Courtney are the coolest couple I know…so it all makes perfect sense!
Thank you both, for inviting me over to meet Ben & photograph him! Thank you, for continuously allowing me to document your special moments. It’s always an honor. Here’s adding another! Congratulations, again! Ben is so precious! I am so happy for you & your family!
This past Saturday evening, I lost a dear friend and member of my family. I remember the day my mom brought Kramer home. He perched himself on the windowsill for days. It took him weeks to get used to our family. But, he soon warmed up to us & warmed our hearts. I always loved Kramer but I began to form a close bond with him, after I moved home from college. Wherever I went, Kramer was not far behind. I have many fond memories of him that I am/will think of often for comfort, in this difficult time. Like, his evening naps on the recliner chair, while I watched t.v. and his liking for as many treats as possible. I felt like he was always deep in thought and that if he were a person, he would be the wisest man in the room. He was quite the talker (usually Maine Coons are). After my brother moved out, I moved into his room. Kramer quickly adapted and visited me often, there. In the mornings, whether I was waking up for work or “trying” to sleep in on the weekend, I would always look to my side and there he was sitting at the floor window, gazing out and waiting. As soon as Kramer heard my voice, he would hop up on my bed and start talking. This made me happy. He made me happy. And, this was the best way to begin my day.
I’ve had my okay days since Saturday & then I’ve had my bad days. It’s still sinking in for me, that Kramer is no longer here, physically. For my family and I, this is a significant loss. We feel this loss & grieve but we also celebrate his time with us. I guess, sharing this experience is a part of my process. Yes, we lost our Kramer but we gained many years of happiness, when he was here. <3
I spent a wonderful & successful afternoon, photographing Cam at her & her finances’ beautiful home in Philadelphia. Their home was absolutely ideal for a shoot. The backyard was lush & overgrown. And the flowers had blossomed on the trees. Inside, were these big windows & smoothed over wooded flooring. Pretty much, every photographer’s dream location!
It was so difficult for me to choose my top favorite images from Cam’s session. These are literally just a handful of some of my favorites. It was a pleasure to work with her & I do hope to book Cam for another shoot in the near future!
